15 Day Egypt and Jordan Tours (Cairo, Nile Cruise and Dahab)

When you arrive for your Egypt and Jordan trip, it is go to be VIP service all the way. No matter what time you arrive, we will be at the airport to welcome you, and to assist you in any way we can. When immigration formalities have been taken care of, we will drive you in style to your 5-Star hotel where you will be staying for your first two nights in Egypt.

Once at the hotel, we will assist you with check and then we’ll discuss your tour itinerary with you, and also confirm pick up times for your various tours. Enjoy a free “Welcome” drink and then enjoy the rest of the day any way you want. Go strolling around the city; sample some local cuisine; relax next to the pool, or simply retire to you room for some peace and quiet.

After a breakfast at the hotel in Cairo, you will head on out to the Giza Plateau. Here, you will spend time at the Great Pyramids of Cheops Chefren and of course, Mykerinus with the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple that faces it. Next, you will spend time at the Solar Boat that is by the Chepos Pyramid (which requires a ticket purchased there). It will then be time to break for lunch and visit the Djoser Pyramid, known as the first pyramid built.

This will then be followed by a transfer to Memphis, where the capital of the Old Kingdom is located, along with the Necropolis. You will then enjoy a night in Cairo.

On day 3 of your Egypt and Jordan trip – After breakfast in your hotel, you will be taken by private guide to the Egyptian Museum. In the Treasure Room, you will see the artifacts of Tutankhamen. This can then be followed by a visit to the Mummy Room (additional purchase required) and then lunch.

You will then visit Saladin Citadel, which includes Mohammed Ali Alabaster Mosque. The trip then moves to Coptic Cairo with a visit to the Hanging Church h and Ben Ezra Synagogue. This is followed by the Khalili Bazaar which dates back to 1382.

From there, it is off to the airport and a flight to Aswan. On arrival you will be met and taken to the Movenpick Aswan Hotel where you’ll spend the night.

After a delicious breakfast in the hotel, you will head on out to the Abu Simbel temples, one of the most visited areas in Egypt. Their breathtaking beauty will be an incredible experience. At Abu Simbel, the temple’s construction was done in a manner that twice a year the Gods at the end of the cave are illuminated by the morning sun. After your day out, you will be taken back to the hotel for another night in Aswan.

Day 5 of your Egypt and Jordan trip. After you enjoy breakfast, you will head on out to board the 5- Star Nile cruise ship. Enjoy lunch on the ship and then it’s time for some sightseeing. Here, you will experience the High Dam, followed by the Philae Temple. This is of course devoted to Isis and Hathor. Here, you will find the largest Obelisk from historical times, which is in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk. Then it will be dinner back on the cruise and another night in Aswan.

Today, you will journey to Kom Ombo, as you enjoy breakfast on the ship. You will then visit the Temple of the Gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo. From here, you will sail off to Edfu as you enjoy lunch on the vessel and then spend time at Horus Temple in Edfu. From here, you will enjoy some afternoon tea on your way to Esna. Dinner is then offered in addition to a night on the ship.

On day 7 of your Egypt and Jordan trip your journey will begin with breakfast, then a trip to the West Bank along with the Valley of the Kings. Here, you will find the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari as well as the Colossi of Memnon, Back on the ship, it will be time for lunch as you move on to the East Bank to see the Karnak temple complex and Luxor Temple, then it will be time for tea on the ship and a night in Luxor.

On day 8 of your Egypt and Jordan trip you will enjoy breakfast in the hotel and then head for the Luxor Airport at 8 AM and head off to Sharm El Sheikh. Flights will usually be indirect and go through Cairo. You will once again be met at Sharm International Airport; driven to Dahab, and spend the night in this new city.

Day 10 of your breathtaking Egypt and Jordan trip. After breakfast, you will be taken to the Monastery of St. Catherine in Sinai. This is located by the foot of Mount Moses. Here, you will find gardens and stunning cypress trees. The monastery is operated by the Greek Orthodox Church and has the second largest collection of illuminated manuscripts. It is here you will find the Burning Bush as well as incredible pieces of artwork. Then, you will enjoy a night in Dahab.

After you enjoy breakfast in your hotel, you will be taken to the Sharm International Airport for a flight to Amman. Here, you will meet with our rep that will prepare you for the following day. You will spend the night in Amman.

Egypt and Jordan trip day 12. Following breakfast, you will travel north to Jerash. It will be here that you will begin to head to the Temple of Artemis and visit the Oval Plaza and enjoy the fountains and beauty of this city. From here, you will travel to Ajloun Castle and have the chance to explore this historical structure that dates back to 1184 AD. Then you are set to head on back to your hotel in Amman for another night in this area.

Once you are done with your breakfast, it will be time to go to Madaba. This is where the Byzantine mosaic map can be found, in the St. George Greek Orthodox Church. From here, you will head on out to Mount Nebo, where Moses saw the Promised Land.

Then it will be time to see the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and even some of the Holy Land. You can then drive to the lowest part of the Earth, the Dead Sea and experience the minerals from the mud, and float on the saltiest waters. Then it will be off to your hotel in Petra for the night.

Day 14 of your Egypt and Jordan trip. After breakfast, you will have the chance to explore Petra, the most important ancient Jordan attraction. Established during the 6th Century BC, this foundation would extend into Syria over the years. It will be here that you can head on out to the canyon (the Siq) on horseback. Then, you will also have a chance to see the Treasury as you are here.

At this point, you will continue on to the Street of Facades, Royal tombs and even the pharaoh’s castle. Then you will take a drive for about two and a half hours on back to Amman where you will enjoy your last night in Amman.

Sadly, your Egypt and Jordan trip has come to an end. Wake up to a wonderful 5-Star breakfast at your hotel, and get ready leave. One of our consultants will arrive with a driver and you’ll be taken to Amman’s Queen Alia Airport in time for you to catch your flight back home. Our staff will assist you with luggage and check-in, and it will be time for everyone to say their goodbyes.
