Your journey through time begins the minute to pass through immigration and you meet your tour manager. He will be there to assist you with your and to escort you to your hotel which in this case will be the luxurious Kimpinski Nile Hotel. After you have checked in the two of you will discuss your itinerary and confirm your pick-up times for upcoming day trips. With a complimentary "welcome" drink and the beauty of Cairo waiting, you’re free to spend the rest of the day as you wish.
Breakfast at hotel. Then you will be met by our English Egyptologist tour guide to start your first day tour by visiting Pyramids of Giza "Khufu, Khafre & Menkaure", where the greatness has been embodied in three pyramids with a limestone statue of Sphinx guarding the whole area.Then proceed to one of our local restaurant to have your lunch.
After that you will proceed to the city of Sakkara, where you will be so excited by exploring The Step Pyramid of king Djoser. This pyramid has a very nice story, when king Djoser asked his chief Architect Imhotep to create something different, so that the king could be buried at. As a result the well-known Architect creates the Step pyramid, which surprised the king so much since it was considered to be a new achievement in this period.
Finally you we will drive towards Memphis, where you can visit The Open Air Museum including the marvelous monuments of king Ramses II.After finishing your day tour, you will get back to your hotel in Cairo for overnight.
Enjoy breakfast in your hotel, and then head out for a day of exploration and fun in Cairo. You will enjoy a private tour of the magnificent Grand Egyptian Museum, located near the Giza Pyramids. This state-of-the-art complex is the largest archaeological museum in the world, showcasing over 100,000 artifacts that span 5,000 years of Egyptian civilization. Marvel at the complete treasures of King Tutankhamun, displayed together for the first time since their discovery, including his legendary gold mask, jewelry, and royal possessions. The museum features colossal statues, immersive digital galleries, and interactive exhibits, all set within striking modern architecture with panoramic views of the pyramids. The artifacts in this museum will take you back to ancient Egypt for an educational morning.
Next up is the Salah El Din Citadel. In 1183 AD, the citadel was built by Salah El Din in an effort to protect the city from attacking Crusaders. After the citadel, travel to the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque. This mosque is dedicated to an ancient Egyptian ruler who controlled the land for more than 40 years.
After lunch, you will have an opportunity to shop at the El Khalili Bazaar. This is one of the most robust "shopping centers" in the city, and it is an esteemed part of Middle Eastern history. Moving on, you will end your day trip with a visit to some of the most amazing churches of the city. This includes the Church of St. Barbara, the Church of Abu Serga, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Hanging Church.
You will return to your hotel for an enjoyable evening in Cairo.
An early start this morning for your domestic flight to Luxor, On arrival you will be met and driven directly to the riverbank to embark your floating home for the coming days — the Princess Farida Luxury Dahabiya, an elegant, traditional twin-masted sailing vessel offering an intimate and authentic way to experience the Nile, far removed from the large cruise ships.
After settling into your cabin and enjoying lunch on board, spend the afternoon exploring Luxor’s East Bank: the vast Karnak Temple complex, the largest religious monument ever built, followed by the graceful Luxor Temple, especially beautiful when illuminated after sunset. Return to the dahabiya for dinner and your first overnight moored in Luxor.
This morning, cross to Luxor’s West Bank for a fascinating tour of the Theban Necropolis: descend into the richly decorated royal tombs of the Valley of the Kings, admire the striking terraced Temple of Hatshepsut carved into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, and pass beneath the towering Colossi of Memnon. Afterward, a scenic 35-minute drive brings you to a quiet village just before Esna, where you rejoin the Princess Farida.
Sail on to Esna and experience the passage through the historic Esna Lock — a memorable slice of everyday Nile life — before continuing to sail towards Edfu as the sun sets over the river. Dinner and overnight on board while cruising.
After breakfast, disembark for a delightful and distinctly local start to the day: a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride through the streets of Edfu to reach the magnificent Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples anywhere in Egypt thanks to the desert sands that once buried and protected it for centuries. Explore its towering pylon, hypostyle halls and inner sanctuary before returning to the dahabiya.
Spend the rest of the day sailing gently south towards El Selsela (Gebel Silsila), a dramatic sandstone gorge that once supplied stone for many of Egypt’s great temples — a wonderfully peaceful stretch of river on which to relax on deck, read and watch rural Egypt drift slowly by. Dinner and overnight on board.
Continue sailing this morning to Kom Ombo, where you will visit the unique double temple dedicated jointly to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus — twin sanctuaries mirrored side by side — and the adjoining Crocodile Museum, home to beautifully preserved mummified crocodiles once revered in antiquity. Sail onward to Aswan, arriving in one of Egypt’s most scenic riverside cities.
In the afternoon, tour the mighty Aswan High Dam, an engineering marvel that reshaped modern Egypt, before taking a short boat ride to the enchanting island Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis and rescued stone by stone from the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Return to the dahabiya for dinner and overnight in Aswan.
After enjoying a good breakfast on board, you will disembark and one of our consultants will escort you to Aswan airport where you will then board your flight back to Cairo.
On arrival in Cairo you will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel, where you will have the remainder of the day to yourself.
Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo. After that you will be met with our Egyptologist tour guide who will accompany you in such a stunning tour to Alexandria.
You will start your Alexandria city tour by exploring one of the main sources of knowledge in the ancient world, "The Alexandria Library". The site of which is the original site of the old Pharaoh.
Later on, you will be transferred to have your lunch meal at local restaurant.
After lunch you will proceed to visit The Roman Amphitheatre, which is considered to be one of the most famous monuments belonging the Greco-Roman period.
Continue your Alexandria city tour by visiting Pompey’s pillar, which was erected in 292 AD. At the end you’ll be transferred to visit Sultan Qaitbay Citadel (from outside) which is considered to be one of most famous sightseeing in Alexandria.
After finishing your day tour, we will drive back to Cairo. Arrive to Cairo and proceed to your hotel there for overnight.
This tour is a very important as you will explore the greatness of the history of Egypt. You will explore the Islamic history and the other Coptic one.
You will visit Ahmed Ibn Tulun Mosque; It is the oldest intact, functioning Islamic monument in Cairo. It also survives as a rare example of the era and architecture of the classical period of Islam, i.e. the ninth and tenth centuries, for it was dominant in the Islamic world.
Then proceed to the Mosque of Sultan Hassan, which considered stylistically the most compact and unified of all Cairo monuments. The building was constructed for Sultan Hassan bin Mohammad bin Qala'oun in 1256 AD as a mosque and religious school for all sects.
Then you will visit El Refa’i Mosque, it is separated from the mosque of Sultan Hassan by a pedestrian street.Take your lunch at one of our local restaurants.
After that, you will start your Coptic Tour, you will start with the Hanging Church, (The Church of the Virgin Mary), built into the walls of the Water Gate of the Roman fortress. It is possibly the oldest Christian church in Egypt, dating to around the 4th Century.
Then you will visit Church of St. Sergius, (Abu Serga), which legend has it is built atop one of the sites where the Holy Family rested on their flight from Herod.
Continuing on this path brings one first to the Ben Ezra Synagogue, which is Egypt's oldest and dates to the 9th Century.
After finishing this fantastic and memorable tour, you will get back to your hotel. Reset and refresh & overnight in Cairo.

Wake up to one last breakfast at your hotel and then you"ll check out and you"ll be driven to Cairo airport in the company of one of our tour managers and a driver. They will assist you with your luggage and with check in if need be, and then it’s unfortunately it will be time to say goodbye.
